Tomažja vas is a small village in the Škocjan municipality in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[2]
The local church is dedicated to Saint Stephen and belongs to the Bela Cerkev parish. It is first mentioned in written documents dating to 1526 and was restyled in the Baroque in the 18th century.[3]
